Wild Glen Creative Healing is fortunate to be based in the West Bay area of Dunoon, in Silverhill, a fine old house with a wonderful view across Dunoon and the Firth of Clyde.
Our Reiki and healing takes place in the spacious original drawing room of Silverhill, in the calming natural light from the large bay windows overlooking the Clyde.
There is also plenty of space for art classes and activities, extending into in the original dining room, also with large windows for natural light.
A cat friendly space
Please note that we do have two cats in the house (as well as hosting two adopted feral cats outside), so please bear this in mind if you have allergies.
Location, travel & parking
Address: Wild Glen Creative Healing is at Silverhill, 41 Kilbride Road, Dunoon PA23 7LL.
Unfortunately the driveway at Silverhill is steep and not suitable for guest parking.
However, there is ample free parking at Glenmorag Car Park (PA23 7QH), which is just a five minute walk away (about 0.2 miles or 400 metres) along Kilbride Road. There’s a map of the very straightforward route below.
If you walk from the Glenmorag car park you will reach this gate at the bottom of the garden, at the junction of Kilbride Road and Crochan Road, which you are welcome to use to walk up to the house. Please take care as the paths are on grass and may be slippery, and there are some uneven stone steps.
For anyone who cannot manage the walk from Glenmorag car park, there is also limited on‑street parking available on Crochan Road, just above the house.
From Kilbride Road, go up the hill on Crochan Road, bend left, then the driveway is on your left about 30 metres after the bend. Please park on the opposite side of Crochan Road, by the drainage ditch, leaving plenty of space for traffic to pass.
“Silverhill 41” is stencilled onto the gateposts at the top of the driveway.
If you use this parking option, please be aware that as pictured above, there is a drainage ditch just at the edge of the road where you park (so take extra care getting out of your car), and also please take care walking down the steep and in places uneven driveway down to the house.
