Creative Wellbeing Walks & Outdoor Sketching
Expect a calm, grounding experience where creativity and wellbeing meet.
Creating in nature is a chance to slow down, breathe, and let the landscape guide your hand. We work outdoors whenever possible—listening to birdsong, noticing shifting light, and letting the textures of moss, bark, and shoreline inspire intuitive mark-making.
These sessions are less about producing a perfect artwork and more about reconnecting with your senses. You’ll explore simple techniques for capturing colour, movement, and atmosphere, using the natural world as both muse and co-creator.
Wellbeing Group Workshops for Health and Wellbeing
Walking, noticing, drawing, and gently settling the mind
Creative wellbeing walks invite you to slow down and focus on the small, often-overlooked details of the natural world. As we walk and sketch outdoors, your attention naturally shifts away from intrusive or racing thoughts. The simple act of observing—light on leaves, the curve of a pebble, the pattern of lichen—creates a calming rhythm that helps quiet the mind.

These sessions blend mindful walking with intuitive drawing. There’s no pressure to create a perfect artwork; instead, we explore how noticing and sketching can become a soothing, grounding practice.
During our recent Creative Mindful workshop, participants used ideas gathered from sketching outdoors to design the outside of their own zen garden boxes. Each person created something beautiful and meaningful to take home—a small sanctuary they could return to whenever they needed a moment of calm. The whole process was meditative, gentle, and deeply restorative.
