Little Links Open Day Dunoon

On Sunday the 19th of April, I’ll be taking part in the Little Links Open Day. This is a relaxed, drop‑in event for families with disabilities across the Cowal area. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy gentle taster sessions in dance, music, art, and sound bath, offering a welcoming space to explore creativity and wellbeing.

I’m really looking forward to being part of this supportive community day and meeting everyone who comes along.

🎨 Fun Creative Activities for Kids

I’ll be offering four playful, expressive art activities designed to help children explore movement, imagination, and creativity:

  • Bilateral Drawing & Painting (eyes closed!) Using both hands at once, kids create flowing marks and patterns with their eyes closed — a brilliant way to loosen up, relax, and have fun.
  • Gesture Drawing with Charcoal Taped onto Long Sticks Charcoal taped to long sticks encourages big, sweeping movements. It’s messy, energetic, and perfect for capturing shapes through motion.
  • Body Silhouettes – Become a Superhero (or any character!) Children can create full‑body silhouettes and transform themselves into superheroes, magical creatures, or characters from their imagination.
  • Blind Contour Drawing A playful challenge where you draw an object without looking at the paper. It’s all about noticing, slowing down, and enjoying the surprise of what appears.

These activities are also suitable for adults. If you’d like me to run a similar creative workshop for your group, please feel free to get in touch.
